Talent platform Freelance.com reported yesterday that first-quarter revenue increased by 15% organically to €208.5 million.
The Paris-based firm said French revenue rose 27% on an organic basis to €138 million. However, international revenue fell by 4% to €70.5 million in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter of 2022.
The group said its international activities suffered a downward pressure in the pharmaceutical sector in Switzerland after strong demand during the Covid-19 period.
“We anticipate a gradual recovery in growth over the coming quarters,” the group stated.
Freelance.com added that it continues to study external growth opportunities in France and Europe.
Freelance.com shares closed yesterday at €5.58, up 1.45% on the day. The company has a market cap of €312.07 million.
